How much is gate admission?
The Roosevelt County Fair is a FREE entry fair! All stage entertainment and admission to buildings is free.
do you have rides or a carnival?
We do not have a traditional carnival. Instead, we bring some attractions in that offer fun for all ages. We have one free attraction, and the rest can be accessed with a wristband. Wristbands are $15/day or $40 for the span of the fair. Wristbands are non-refundable and cannot be transferred.
How much is parking?
Parking is also free! We ask that you come in from the west side of our driveway at 4th Ave E and travel east to park. We also have a north-south lot coming in from 5th Ave E. Part of our parking lot is closed Thursday to allow for our car and tractor show. In the event all lots are full, feel free to park down any of the local streets.
Are pets allowed on the Fairgrounds during the fair?
Pets are NOT permitted on the fairgrounds. The only exception is certified service animals in use by disabled persons. (PASK Trained), or a dog that is here for the Little Legs Dog Race. For rules on that, visit our Facebook event page.
do you sell alcohol?
Yes. Alcohol (beer) is available for purchase by patrons 21+ on Thursday and Friday afternoon/evening.
Is smoking permitted on the grounds?
Smoking and/or vaping is not permitted inside the fairgrounds main fenced area. Smoking is only permitted in parking lots. Please be respectful and mindful of other patrons and smoke at least 50' from buildings and fenced areas.
are credit cards accepted?
Each vendor will have their own policy regarding payments. Wristbands may be purchased with checks, cash, or online at our payment portal, and you may purchase a wristband for your child prior to visiting the fair. They can be picked up at Guest Services, the little red barn behind Building A.
Do you ever close because of bad weather?
A little rain doesn’t shut us down! In the event of inclement weather, we watch the local forecast closely to always ensure the safety of our patrons. Be sure to check our Facebook where we always keep you up-to-date on the latest information. Also, check the local weather forecast before you visit, and plan to bring a jacket, hat or sunscreen as appropriate.
Are there nursing/diaper changing facilities?
Our Guest Services barn has air conditioning and a small couch. Mothers are welcome. In the event the building is closed, please find a staff member and we will open it for you.

What do I do if I lost a person or an item while at the fair?
If you’ve lost someone or something during your visit, all lost persons and property will be safely cared for in the Guest Services barn. Staff members all carry radios, and utilize the WHAT THREE WORDS app to communicate with law enforcement and emergency officials in the event of an emergency.

how can i volunteer at the roosevelt county fair?
We welcome all volunteers! We need judges and clerks for Open Class Static Exhibits (clerking requires no expertise!) on Monday, August 4. We also have many other opportunities for groups or individuals to volunteer their time to make our fair great! Send us an email, or reach out via Facebook or a phone call. We would love to have you!

You don't have rides or a carnival. What else is there for us to do?
We make every effort possible to make your experience at the Roosevelt County Fair enjoyable. We encourage you to visit our vendors, check out the static exhibits (and pick up a book to get ideas so you can enter next year!), participate in the free games and contests, bring a lawn chair to watch our free stage acts, take a stroll through the livestock barns, and test your agriculture knowledge in our AgTivities building.
What are the fair hours?
Buildings C/D, which are the exhibits and concessions buildings, are open for standard viewing traffic from noon-7pm Wednesday, and 11am-7pm Thursday and Friday. The 4-H concession area may be open earlier in the day, although viewing in Building D will be closed until time of opening.
Most of our evening events will conclude by 11pm, which is also the time of curfew for the Town of Culbertson. We encourage parents to pick their children up from the parking lot, and discourage walking home alone.

do you have overnight rv sites? What about stalling for animals?
RV sites are available from May to October (weather permitting). The cost is $25/night for RVs and $10/night for tents. We have a two week stay limit. For more information, visit our accommodations tab. Please note, some events may effect availability of RV sites.

I can't find your staff. What are your office hours?
June, July, and August all staff are present on the fairgrounds from 8am-4pm, Monday through Thursday, sometimes Friday. September through May the office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at the downtown Roosevelt County Complex at 307 Broadway Ave. Culbertson. from 8:30am-3:30pm.

is outside food allowed into the fair?
Yes. You are able to bring in outside food and drinks. No outside alcohol is permitted.
There is a free Corn Feed Thursday at 5:30, and the Culbertson Chamber usually offers a free meal on Friday at 5.

Where is the Roosevelt county fair located?
The fairgrounds are 2 blocks east of the Roosevelt Medical Center, and adjacent to Big Sky Field; the Culbertson Airport. Our address is 512 8th St E.
To get here from downtown, turn right and go east on Highway 2 for 4 blocks. Then turn left and go north for 2 blocks.
To get here from the east, go 1 or 2 blocks past Hi-Line Service and turn right, go north for 2 blocks.
