To ensure a safe environment for all patrons, The Roosevelt County Fair, it’s officers and Board of Directors, hereinafter called “FAIR” have approved the following polices to be enforced on all Fair owned, rented or leased property during the annual Fair and non-Fair events. To maintain a family atmosphere at all times, RCF Security, have been directed to act as agents to enforce these policies on behalf of The FAIR. The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Department are also permitted to enforce these policies on behalf of The FAIR when they are present on the grounds.

Guests are welcome to bring cameras to the fair. For stage performances, audio/video recording is not permitted, and still photography may be restricted by the artist(s). GoPro cameras are prohibited on all rides at the Fair, even if the camera is fastened to a harness or other device intended to hold the camera, unless permission has been granted by the operators.
Media, production crews and individuals interested in shooting with tripods or equipment other than standard point-and-shoot cameras or mobile devices during the fair should contact the Fair office, [email protected] and/or call 406-787-5881 for approval.
Smoking
Smoking, including e-cigarettes/vaping, is not allowed in any indoor facilities, tents, barns, and any other designated area of the Fairgrounds. Visit our FAQ page for more info on smoking/vaping.
Disruptive Behavior
Disruptive behavior is not tolerated at The Roosevelt County Fairgrounds.
Any individual(s) who engage in illegal or unlawful activity, including any threatening or intimidating behavior, engaging in criminal activity and/or committing overt acts to cause disruption or incite disorder while attending The Roosevelt County Fair or non-Fair events are subject to ejection, trespass notice and possible arrest.
It is the policy of the Fair to treat employees and all persons coming to its facilities in a manner that is free of any bias or prejudice, and without regard to age, race, ethnicity, religion, language, physical or mental disability, sex, sexual orientation and gender identity or any other characteristic prohibited by law.
PLEASE BE ADVISED
- Persons entering the facility, and the grounds assume all risks incidental to the event.
- The FAIR reserves the right, in its’ sole discretion, to refuse admission or eject any person violating any law, rule, regulation or policy during the Fair and non-Fair events.
- Persons also are subject to potentially having their image and/or likeness reproduced for promotional and/or publicity purposes of Fair or media photography, video, broadcasts and/or webcasts.
- Shirts, blouses, trousers, pants and foot apparel are required to be worn at all times.
- Acts, events, and show times are subject to change and/or cancellation.
- The FAIR reserves the right to enact policy changes at any time, in their sole discretion.
- Demonstrations, protests, vigils of any nature are prohibited on the grounds and premises of The Fair during any and all functions or at any time.
- The FAIR is not responsible for lost, stolen or misplaced wristbands or any other item.
- Weapons, or objects that appear to be weapons (with the exception of those permitted by the state of MT)
- Fireworks or other explosive or flammable objects
- Alcoholic beverages or any illegal substance {Alcohol may be purchased at designated sale areas on site, but no outside alcohol is permitted}
- Illegal drugs or paraphernalia; Any and all illegal drugs and associated paraphernalia as defined by the State of Montana, US Government, County and local governments. The Roosevelt County Fair, in its sole discretion, also prohibits any drugs and associated paraphernalia whether illegal or legal to be on the Fairgrounds or used on the Fairgrounds, such as Maryjane, CBD, weed or pot, but not limited thereto.
- Drones, quad copters, Remote controlled cars or trucks on or above property owned or leased or controlled by the FAIR.
- Bikes, skateboards, skates, roller blades, hoverboards, segways, scooters and golf carts/UTVs/ATVs are prohibited, unless approved by the FAIR. Bike racks are available at the fair entry gates.
- Pets are not allowed. Unless part of an authorized act or exhibit. Service animals are permitted for individuals with a disability. Service animals are defined by the A.D.A The task (s) performed must be directly related to the person’s disability. Emotional support animals shall not be permitted. (PASK trained)
- Noise makers, air horns, bull horns, laser pointers, large signs, flags, banners.
- Unapproved pamphlets, handouts, advertisements.
- Ski masks, Halloween masks, balaclavas (Medical grade masks are accepted)
- Other items may be refused at the discretion of the FAIR, security team/staff or law enforcement.
